We are out of stock on all items until September 2008. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Darrow family has been growing apples since 1914. We offer already picked or pick your own apples, blueberries, peaches, pumpkins, and more. See “Products” and “Whats Ripe ” for more details.

During the season you can make your own cider on our demonstration press, or, if you come on a cider-making day you can watch us grind and squeeze our special blends of tree picked fruit on the big press. Because we use fine quality fruit, we make our cider in the traditional way without pasteurizing.

ApplesMost fall days the apples are in tough competition with our sinfully delicious pies and cider donuts. On those days, the donuts are still warm no matter what time of day you arrive. Our store is also stocked with our own jams, & butters, as well as quality products from our fellow Vermont neighbors.

Farmers throughout New England have had to resort to some unusual farming strategies in order to stay in business. One of ours has been to build a new deer fence, not to keep the deer out, but to keep the deer in. Reindeer that is. Come visit these unusual, but friendly creatures.

The orchard is a beautiful, wholesome place to visit any time of year. We welcome folks to hike, snowshoe, picnic, and even get married here in what we consider one of New England’s many paradises. If you can’t come visit, or you know people who can’t get here, send them a taste of Vermont via our online store.
